It was a fateful fall night outside Kinjo Sushi in central Calgary. After meeting two nights before on the Bumble dating app. They had to meet to see if there instant connection over text and phone would hold weight in person. Both checking each other boxes on faith, family, values and looks (tattooed Christians).

Erin was immediately awe struck at how handsome Shawn was. He was instantly head over heals for her sky blue eyes, outgoing personality, beauty and grace.

They talked for hours as she recounted her escapades as a nurse, driving a water truck while helping to build the 201 around Calgary. As well as driving a house sized Haul truck in Elkford B.C and I think Shawn got in a few words too.

After closing the Sushi joint down , Shawn , always the gentleman, walked Erin to her car were she proposed a first kiss. Considering the most chivalrous action he countered with a " lets wait till next time".

Well "next time" turned out to be the next night. That kiss became their first of many and their storybook romance catapulted their definition of love to new heights.
